About the Chief Guest
Dr. Remya Nirmala is a dynamic, multitalented Researcher, psychiatrist, psychologist, and holistic medical doctor with over 21 years of clinical experience. Accredited by the APA and AMA, she specializes in psychiatric and psychological treatments, medical neuroscience, psychotherapy, clinical research, epidemiology, hospital management, Ayurvedic medicine, and nutrition.
She holds a PHD in Medical Psychology and postgraduate degrees from prestigious institutions such as Harvard, Stanford, and John Hopkins University in psychiatry , deaddiction and neurophysiology.
With additional certification in Public Health from the NIH, her international experience spanning over 17 years underscores her expertise in treating a wide range of psychosomatic, psychological, and neurodevelopmental conditions. From autism spectrum disorders to ADHD, conduct disorder, dyslexia, and eating disorders, Dr. Remya’s comprehensive approach offers hope and healing to individuals.
With five years of academic experience, Dr. Remya is a sought-after facilitator of postgraduate and graduate training programs. She is an international faculty member for the M.S. course in Psychopathology & Neurophysiology. Dr. Remya is a prolific researcher and author, having presented 100+ papers at global seminars, with 25+ papers published in reputable journals and over 50 online articles as a leading authority in the field.
Dr. Remya spearheaded the IWRC project for the Embassy of India, providing crucial psychiatric consultation and psychotherapy for Indian nationals in Abu Dhabi. She delivers impactful lectures on health-related topics, stress management, and adolescent issues. An esteemed expert, she continues to serve as the Medical Director of Lootah Group of Companies’ Medical/Healthcare Division and Medical operations Head Director of Lootah Santhigiri Holistic Health Center in Dubai, UAE. Also handling Managing director position of Prathyasa group -India , providing integrated holistic wellness therapy in wellness-Ayurveda-psychotherapy-mental wellness centers in Kerala, India.

Maria Conceição is a Portuguese humanitarian entrepreneur, keynote speaker, author, and elite endurance athlete. She is the first Portuguese woman to summit Everest and K2, a 10-time Guinness World Records holder, and one of the few women to complete the Explorer’s Grand Slam (Everest, North & South Poles).
Originally not a professional athlete, Maria transformed hardship into purpose undertaking extreme endurance challenges to fund education and open opportunities for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. She is the founder of a long-running social impact mission focused on resilience, leadership, and access to education, while also authoring multiple books on grit and reinvention.
A powerful, authentic voice on global stages, Maria speaks about breaking barriers, leading under pressure, and building impact against the odds living by her signature message: “I will always bounce higher.”
